1st Adriatic Oil Spill Conference – May 12, 2010

REMPEC attended the First Adriatic Oil Spill Conference hosted by the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia, in Opatija, Croatia, 12-14 May 2010.

REMPEC sponsored the participation of speakers from Adriatic coastal States attending the conference.

A number of relevant international organizations and institutions such as EMSA, IOPC Funds, Cedre, ITOPF, MOIG, MOON, Sea Alarm, etc. also participated in the conference.

The goal of the Conference was to facilitate an exchange of experience and knowledge in the fields of prevention, preparedness for and response to marine oil pollution incidents among the participants from the Adriatic coastal States.
