6th EuroMed Maritime Safety Sub-Group Meeting (SafeMed II Project’s Advisory Committee), Brussels, 24th October 2011 – Oct 24, 2011

The 6th Meeting of the Maritime Safety Sub-Group of the EuroMed Transport Forum, which also acts as the Safemed II Project’s Advisory Committee Meeting, is being organised by the European Commission’s Directorates General ‘Mobility and Transport’ and ‘EuropeAid Co-operation Office’, under the auspices of the co-presidency of the Union for the Mediterranean, in Brussels on the 24th October, 2011.

As part of the 2nd Euro-Mediterranean Transport Forum – Maritime Affairs, Ports and Short-Sea Shipping Working Group, this year’s meeting of the Maritime Safety Sub-Group is being organised back-to-back with the 8th Motorways of the Sea Sub-Group which deals with the other Euro-Mediterranean Transport Project, the Motorways of the Seas (MEDA MoS) II Project.

The National Contact Points of both the Safemed II and the MEDA MoS II Projects as well as the National Coordinators of the EuroMed Transport Project are being invited to attend these meetings in order to have an overall view of both transport projects.
