    Arrival of Ms Souade Nasseri at REMPEC

    REMPEC is pleased to announce the arrival of Ms. Souade Nasseri, who took the position of Junior Programme Administrator at REMPEC on 15 November 2011.

    Ms. Souade Nasseri holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) Degree in Biosciences from the French graduate school INSA Lyon, specialized in Environmental Engineering. She is seconded to REMPEC since November 2011 by the French oil company TOTAL as International Scientific Volunteer (VIS), for 18 months. Her responsibilities include, amongst others: 

    • To implement the programme of the Mediterranean Technical Working Group (MTWG);
    • To act as a liaison officer between the Mediterranean Oil Industry Group (MOIG) and REMPEC; 
    • To provide assistance to REMPEC in the field of preparedness for and response to marine accidental pollution;
    • To upgrade the Regional information System (RIS) of REMPEC and the IT tools developed by the Centre.
