First Train the Trainer Course - POSOW Project – May 21, 2013
Within the framework of the POSOW Project, two Train the Trainer Courses are organised at Cedre's premises. In order to create this regional synergy and build regional task forces of trainers, a training team (Civil Protection, regional / local authorities and specialized wildlife response NGO) from each region receive a dedicated train the trainer course on Volunteer Management , Oiled Shoreline Assessment and Cleanup and Oiled Wildlife Response.
Participants from Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Slovenia, attended the first Train the Trainer Course of the POSOW Project held between the 21 and 23 May 2013.
Theoretical and practical exercises were organised to allow the future trainers to get the acquired knowledge to replicate the trainings in their respective regions, during the second part of the year 2013. Facilities and equipment from Cedre were used to practice the shoreline assessment and cleanup techniques.
The second Train the Trainer Course is being held between the 28 and 30 May 2013, with participants from Greece, France, Malta, and Spain.
