Launch of the Preparedness for Oil-polluted Shoreline clean-up and Oiled Wildlife interventions – (POSOW) Website – Apr 13, 2012
REMPEC and its Partners, namely the Centre of Documentation, Research and Experimentation on Accidental Water Pollution (CEDRE), the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), Sea Alarm Foundation, and the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions of Europe (CPMR) are pleased to announce the launch of the new Posow website www.posow.org.
The project for Preparedness for Oil-polluted Shoreline clean-up and Oiled Wildlife interventions (POSOW) coordinated by the Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Response Centre for the Mediterranean Sea (REMPEC), is a two year project funded by the European Commission, to improve the preparedness and response in marine pollution in the Mediterranean region.
The website is aimed at disseminating all material produced under the project which will be released upon completion during the first year of the project (2012). Train the trainers and national training courses will be announced through the website in the second year of the project (2013).
The news sections will be regularly updated with developments under the project.
