National Contingency Plan for the Republic of Albania – Jul 25, 2012

REMPEC is pleased to announce that the National Contingency Plan (NCP) for the Republic of Albania, developed by the Inter-Ministerial Working Group (IMWG) with the assistance of REMPEC, has been approved by the Council of Ministers under the Decision No 480 dated 25 of July 2012.

The new NCP constitutes a major step towards improving the national system for responding promptly and effectively to oil pollution incidents as required by the OPRC Convention and the Prevention and Emergency Protocol of the Barcelona Convention.
