Sub-regional Preview Exercise between Cyprus, Greece and Israel – Oct 23, 2017

The first Marine Oil Pollution Exercise was organized in Haifa, Israel on 23 and 24 October 2017, by the Marine Environment Protection Division, Ministry of Environmental Protection of Israel, in collaboration with the competent national authorities responsible for preparedness and response to accidental marine pollution of Cyprus and Greece and the Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Response Centre for the Mediterranean Sea (REMPEC). 

The Preview Exercise was conceived as an activity within the process of development of the Sub-regional Marine Oil Pollution Contingency Plan between Cyprus, Greece and Israel achieved in December 2017.
