Visit | Students from the Texas A&M University – May 20, 2024

The Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Response Centre for the Mediterranean Sea (REMPEC) Head of Office, Mr Ivan Sammut, welcomed students from the Texas A&M University to share with them the work done by the Centre with the objective to contribute to preventing and reducing pollution from ships and combating pollution in case of emergency in the Mediterranean Sea.

It was an enlightening experience to share and discuss with them our activities and see their appreciation of the opportunities and challenges that exist in the conversation and protection of the marine environment and better understand the role of the UNEP / MAP-Barcelona Convention.
