    The Regional Marine Pollution Emergency Centre for the Mediterranean Sea (REMPEC) organized the Regional Workshop on the Preparation of National Action Plans for the Implementation of the Mediterranean Strategy for the Prevention of, Preparedness, and Response to Marine Pollution from Ships (2022-2031) on the 20th November 2024.

    The Workshop was attended by almost 20 delegates and the principal objectives of the Workshop were:

    • to raise awareness on the Mediterranean Strategy (2022-2031)
    • to strengthen regional capacity for an effective implementation of the Mediterranean Strategy (2022-2031
    • to review the Guidance Document on the Preparation of National Action Plans for the Implementation of the Mediterranean Strategy (2022-2031), prepared by REMPEC
